AB Innovation Lab is the first official chapter of Turtleboat. Our mission is to create an accessible platform to train individuals who have innovative ideas and help them become entrepreneurs and change-makers within our community. We have partnered with the Turtleboat [by Ycities Beta] platform to offer:
Turtleboat was born out of yCITIES, a nonprofit founded by Vicky Wu Davis in 2008 to inspire young people through entrepreneurship and innovation. After a health scare in 2013, Vicky’s community rallied to imagine tools that could capture her vision and amplify it. The idea of Turtleboat first emerged as a way to support students and mentors, and over the years, it has evolved with each new generation of innovators. The platform was redesigned to connect people virtually and reach a larger audience. Today, Turtleboat continues to grow, and its mission remains the same: empowering changemakers through creativity, collaboration, and community.
